The NY/NJ SAAM collaborative seeks to emulate the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s successful partnerships with the private sector to fund its endeavors. Our goal is to identify corporations and small businesses that have expressed a commitment to diversity and seeks to be inclusive in providing employment and procurement opportunities, and supportive of community initiatives. We also intend to enlist the support of business leaders who share our concerns for the welfare of Black men and are willing to use their considerable stature to reframe opportunity in New York City.
